This website is a joint initiative between the Victorian WorkCover Authority (WorkSafe Victoria), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Environment Protection Authority (EPA).

Purpose

The website has been established to provide the Victorian Community with information reflecting the current Victorian Government information and guidance with regard to the safe management, removal and disposal of asbestos, and the rights and responsibilities of homeowners, employers and other parties with respect to Victorian legislation in relation to asbestos.

Emailing us in relation to this website

When you send us an email, the contents of your email and your email address may be retained by us for only as long as is necessary to respond to your inquiry. However, the email may be retained for longer if you consent, or where we believe we are required or authorised by law to retain the information for a longer period.
